In an article written by Timothy Nerozzi with foxbussiness.com, he states that fuel prices have doubled since Joe Biden has taken office. A lot of people argue the fact that debates whether he is responsible for the rise in fuel prices. When Biden took office in January 2021 the average cost of fuel prices was sitting around $2.39 per gallon. Since then, fuel has been doubled in price to make it a national average of $4.81 per gallon. He states that the white house came out and said that Biden’s policies have not been the contributing factor to our rise in fuel prices. He says that the more reasonable response is that the invasion on Ukraine has been one of the biggest factors of our fuel prices rising so much (Nerozzi, 2022).
